Privacy policy

1. Information we collect

The Site has no sign-up and does not directly collect identifying information such as your name, phone number or payment details. The following may be generated automatically while you use the Site.

• Access logs: IP address, timestamp, requested path, browser and operating system, referring page
• Usage analytics: anonymised events such as page views, calculator use and outbound link clicks
• If you email us, your sender address and the contents of your message

2. Purpose of processing

• Operating the service reliably and responding to abuse or outages
• Improving the service through aggregate usage statistics
• Replying to enquiries and confirming how they were handled

3. Retention

Access logs are kept for up to 30 days under our hosting provider's policy and then deleted. Analytics data is deleted automatically after Google Analytics' default 14-month retention window. Enquiry emails are kept for one year after resolution and deleted sooner on request.

4. Processors and overseas transfer

We use the processors below to run the service. Their servers are located outside Korea, so data is transferred overseas. You may refuse the transfer, in which case use of the Site may be limited.

• Vercel Inc. (United States): website hosting and access logs
• Google LLC (United States): aggregate usage analytics (Google Analytics 4)
• Cloudflare, Inc. (United States): domain name service

5. Cookies

We use Google Analytics cookies for usage analysis, with IP anonymisation enabled. You can refuse cookies in your browser settings. Clicking an affiliate link may allow the vendor or its affiliate network to set a referral cookie; their own privacy policies apply from that point.

6. Disclosure to third parties

We do not provide personal information to third parties, except where a law enforcement authority requests it through a lawful procedure.

7. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion or suspension of processing of your personal information at any time. Contact us below and we will act without delay and confirm the outcome.

8. Security measures

• HTTPS encryption across the whole site
• No database storing personal information is operated
• Calculator inputs are processed in your browser and never sent to a server
• Administrator access is kept minimal and protected with two-factor authentication

9. Children under 14

The Site is not directed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy is amended, we will publish the reason and the change on the Site at least seven days before it takes effect.
